BIXBI Pet Food Packaging Rebrand

The challenge
In December 2025, BIXBI asked LUDWIG+ to rebrand its packaging across 10 product lines and 72 SKUs. The first print-ready files were due in mid-February 2026. That gave the team roughly ten weeks to create the new packaging system, get it approved, apply it across the full portfolio, proof every file, and prepare the work for print. A complete photography shoot also had to be bid and produced within the same window.
Miya's role
Miya's first job was to show the client that LUDWIG+ could do it. She laid out the process, staffing plan, and timeline so the client could see exactly how the work would move and who would own each part of it. She then built the task force and led the operation from kickoff through delivery. The team included Design Directors, a Senior Graphic Designer, a packaging designer, a print producer who specialized in packaging, a studio team for dielines and production, proofreaders, copywriters, project managers, account managers, and a producer leading the photography shoot.
The complexity
This was not one package copied 72 times. Each product line had its own format, claims, copy, imagery, and production requirements, but everything still had to feel like one BIXBI brand. Design, client approvals, photography, retouching, copy, dielines, proofreading, and print production all had to move at the same time. One late decision could affect dozens of files, so the schedule, approval process, and handoffs had to be clear from day one.
The outcome
LUDWIG+ redesigned and delivered all 72 SKUs across BIXBI's 10 product lines within the required production window. The team also completed the photography production needed to support the new system. The redesigned packaging is now live in market.
