The challenge
Priority Waste needed a strong piece of video content for digital. The job required the right director, the right production partner, and a team that could carry the idea through production and post without diluting the creative.
Miya's role
As Executive Producer, Miya led the job from the director search through final delivery. She bid directors, reviewed treatments, evaluated the creative and production approach, negotiated bids, and awarded the work to director Nick Stachurski and Eightfold.
Miya assembled the agency team that attended the production, supervised the production team through the shoot, and stayed closely involved with the editorial team through post. Her role was to keep the creative, budget, schedule, and people aligned from beginning to end.
The complexity
The director's vision, the budget, and the realities of production all had to work together. Choosing the right partner meant looking beyond a beautiful treatment. Miya needed to identify who could deliver the idea within the parameters of the job, negotiate a responsible bid, and make sure the agency, production company, and editorial team stayed connected throughout the process.
The outcome
The team delivered a beautiful final film for Priority Waste's social channels. The work retained the original creative vision and gave the brand a polished piece of content it could confidently put into market.
